MERCANTILE STORE MANAGER
MRH EMPLOYEE SINCE 2019
Lydia is our Mercantile Store Manager and has been a part of the Mountain Rose team since 2019. Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, she grew up with a family that loved to camp year-round. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest taught her a deep admiration and a respectful relationship with nature at a young age. After a summer living and working in Yellowstone National Park, she knew that this relationship with our natural world was one that she wanted to bring into her professional career. In 2019 she received a Certified Herbalist certification through the internationally accredited Centre of Excellence. She loves being able to use this invaluable knowledge to serve those around her. She has studied Japanese culture and language for over a decade, and has travelled to Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and several states in the US. This has instilled in her a deep respect for different cultures which she carries into her daily life. Lydia enjoys working in a local music studio as a sound engineer, biking, traveling, and relaxing at home with her cat Cashew.
